Our Story

•Estancia Valley Youth Ministries is a New Mexico 501C3 non-profit corporation established to provide the youth of Estancia Valley, N.M. with a Teen Community Center offering a safe and nurturing environment.

•We are reaching out to the Community, Churches and Public to come together as one to change the culture and stop failing our youth. We want to give viable alternatives to drugs, crime and other paths that are leading to the overall downfall of our rural teen communities. There is not much for the Estancia Valley youth, any activities they want to partake in requires them to travel to Albuquerque, not only having to travel 50 miles or so each way, but the cost becomes prohibitive for families trying to get them involved with healthy activities.

•Our plan is to complete the remodel of a 100 ft by 60 ft gymnasium and 2 floor building on the property of 1204/1208 Poplar St. to use for the Estancia Valley Christian Teen Center. The teen center is not affiliated with a single church, we are hoping all churches in the Estancia Valley along with the public will come together as a single body to help save our youth. The epidemic of fentanyl, meth, alcohol and other drugs is literally killing our kids, and it’s time to break the chain and stop it now. We owe it to them, our community, and to God.

•The center will be open to all families with no discrimination or prejudice. Our hope is that we can continue to keep all activities FREE. That’s going to take support from our community to invest into our youth.
